Jenette Howard has worked as an ecological consultant since 2004. She has extensive practice of managing, co-ordinating and participating in private home conversions / developments to large scale projects including a wide variety of Ecological Impact Assessments (EcIAs) including for large-scale housing schemes, mineral extraction sites and major water transfer operations.
Jenette is responsible for the development of the business, the management of contracts and the provision of ecological services from initial site survey, including Extended Phase 1 habitat survey and protected species surveys, and Ecological Impact Assessment, through to mitigation design and post-development monitoring.
Jenette holds current Natural England survey licences for bats, dormice, great crested newts and white-clawed crayfish; and has acted as named ecologist on numerous Natural England European Protected Species mitigation licences. She is also a Registered Consultant with Natural England and therefore able to register sites for the Bat Mitigation Class Licence where they meet the relevant criteria (see our Bat Surveys, Mitigation & Licensing web page).
